4.2 BILLION LITERS AND COUNTING
Making jeans takes a lot of H2O. Or, it used to. To help protect our precious water supply, we rolled out Levi’s® Water<Less® innovations in 2011. Since then, we’ve saved more than 4.2 billion liters from the denim finishing process (that crucial step that gives our jeans and jackets their broken-in look and feel from day one).
CHANGING THE GAME
By the end of 2020, 70% of Levi’s® denim products were being finished with Water<Less® techniques. We've also made our processes available to the public, so other factories and brands can join us in our water-conserving efforts.
WASH LESS WEAR OFTEN
You can do your part to help protect our water supply, too. Wash your Levi’s® after every 10 wears instead of every 2 to reduce water intake by 80%. Because every drop counts.
